The UNESCO Transcultura programme, generously funded by the European Union, is calling on young artists and entrepreneurs within the Caribbean tourism sector to apply for a series of creative tourism training workshops. The initiative aims to enhance the skills of individuals working in the creative and cultural industries, ultimately fostering sustainable tourism in the region.

These capacity-building workshops will be held in two beautiful Caribbean locations: Saint George, Grenada, from 24 to 28 February 2025, and Kingstown, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, from 17 to 21 March 2025. A total of fifty participants will be selected to take part in these intensive, week-long sessions, which are designed to improve participants' ability to promote their creative enterprises and cultural heritage to both local and international visitors.

The workshops will provide hands-on training, expert insights, and networking opportunities, empowering participants to develop new skills that will help them thrive in the ever-evolving tourism sector. The programme will focus on the intersection of creativity and tourism, offering valuable guidance on how to create authentic, culturally rich experiences for tourists while ensuring that local communities benefit economically.

Applications are open until January 26, 2025. This is a unique opportunity for emerging talents and entrepreneurs to build their knowledge, connect with like-minded individuals, and contribute to the sustainable growth of the Caribbean's tourism industry.
